This 50-minute lecture introduces Biodigital Implantology as an "Engineering Healing" concept—an operational system designed to minimize errors and maximize biological predictability in immediate implant placement. By combining patient-centered digital planning, avatar-based surgery simulation, and structured presurgical patient preparation, tissue healing is no longer left to chance but actively engineered. Furthermore, it covers the use of autologous blood concentrates, such as PRF, as key tools for biologization and controlled tissue regeneration, demonstrating clinical relevance through anterior and posterior immediate implant cases utilizing state-of-the-art digital workflows.

Integrating Technology and Biology for Predictable Outcomes: To understand how aligning digital workflows (planning and simulation) with biological approaches (autologous blood concentrates) and systematic patient preparation enables clinicians to achieve highly reproducible and predictable clinical outcomes in immediate implant placement.
After attending this lecture, participants will be able to:
Understand Biodigital Implantology as an operating healing system aimed at predictable, error-minimized outcomes
Identify patient-related and site-specific indications for immediate implant placement
Apply a patient-centered digital workflow, including avatar-based planning and guided surgical execution
Integrate biologization strategies using PRF to actively steer wound healing and tissue stability
Recognize critical decision points that reduce complications and increase long-term treatment predictability
